We're Married!

Yep, after all the lead up we are finally married (maybe now I will have time to post more regularly!?)

We are leaving for our honeymoon in Port Douglas early tomorrow morning. When we get back I'll be sure to post more wedding details and photos on our wedding website. Until then, here are a couple of pics taken with our digital camera.

We will have to wait a little for our professional pics though.

SNAKES!

No, not on a plane.

In my dreams.

That's right, I'm going to give you all a little insight into just how crazy I am by relating the dream I had last night. I don't usually remember them so I might as well tell you about the ones I do!

So I dreamed about snakes.
I was in my classroom (it must have been a student free day or something because there were no kids there) and the cleaners were putting new furniture in. I sat down at a desk and felt something scuttle across my foot.

I look down, and see a huge spider. Then I notice there are about 4 snakes under there as well. So naturally I freak out and run away (down a hallway - didn't seem weird at the time but somehow my classroom had become my house). One of the snakes bit me on the butt.

I don't remember much else but here is the really weird bit:

After being bitten (on the butt) by one of the snakes, I decided this would make a really interesting blog post and got out my camera to start taking photos of the snakes.

Then I woke up.

Any dream experts out there? Analyse me!

Oh, and I was just a little disappointed when I woke up that I have nothing interesting to blog about now.

Yay Matt!!

When a few weeks ago Matt told me he had invited a bunch of our friends over for a BBQ on the Ekka (Brisbane Exhibition) holiday, my response was something along the lines of "great... have fun". He had totally forgotten that I don't get that holiday and would be at work! The scariest part about that... Matt would have to do everything himself... the buying food (since it was left to the last minute), cleaning the house, cleaning the BBQ which hadn't been used in ages, cooking the food.

Well, I am just writing this to say I am very impressed! It turned out I got to be there for most of it anyway because I went to work 1/2 an hour early and worked through lunch so I could go home earlier (it was a student free day). When I got home he had the house looking spotless (OK except for our bedroom - he just closed the door on that rather than making them bed), he had the food ready, we had bread and salads and drinks and even dessert (OK that was thanks to our guests and Matt's delegation skills), the BBQ was clean and the food just being cooked as I got there.

So I say again, Yay Matt! The BBQ was great.

I think I'll have to leave him to do all the work more often!
